We had been wanting to get the bike
serviced for a while now and found a new BMW service center in Oaxaca
(We knew this before coming into town). We had tried to drop the bike
off the day before (Sunday), but a face at the office had told us
that even though he was there, and the office was open, we wouldn't
be able to leave our bike that day and to come back Monday morning at
9. the problem was, we had a 10:30 flight to catch that morning,
which meant that we would have to check in by 9. So, we woke up
early, packed, drove to the airport, checked in and checked our
luggage, drove the BMW service center, were able to get our bike in
10 minutes before they actually opened, were helped by a very nice
man who spoke perfect English, took a free cab provided by BMW back
to the airport, stopped just outside the airport to get some
breakfast at a taco stand in order to avoid airport prices, and made
our flight on time. It was a rushed, but good morning. We made it
home safe and sound.
